There are many opportunities for a new programmer to get ahead. The first opportunity is to be a product manager. Product managers are responsible for developing and managing products, whether it is a company’s flagship product or an innovative new idea. They work with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create products that customers will love.
Product managers have a lot of power in their roles. They can make or break products, so they need to be able to handle difficult situations and take quick decisions. They also need to be able to communicate effectively with other officials in the organization.
Product Managers determine the best ways to design an item or feature that is successfully available in the marketplace. In this Nanodegree program, you will develop an outline of product strategy and metrics based on the market analysis, pitch a product vision to get stakeholder buy-in, and develop a user interface that is in line with engineering requirements. After that, you may design an execution schedule that meets your goals.

Now let’s come to the most important part of the course which is the course itself and what you get in it when you enroll in this course. This Course has a total of four sections each explaining some important topics related to the course and providing with you learning points and real-world projects at the end. Let’s take a deep dive into the sections -:
Develop an effective strategy for the best product first by adhering to a market-based plan, market research, and defining the desired target user. Create a compelling vision in order to best organize your team and produce results. Learn how to be an effective communicator to attract team members’ attention and inspire them to want to help the company solve the challenges.
For this project, Act as product manager for one of the four most successful companies and join in their bid for the development of a new product. Based on the stated scenario of the company you wish to work for, gather primary and market research, and identify the target audience and size of the market opportunity for a new product. Organize your findings into a pitch deck, and present it to the company for consideration.
In this section, Go through the concept, design, and user testing phases, and hand over your specification to engineering for development. Use design thinking methods to explore various concepts, and then converge on a single idea. Map out the full concept by developing a prototype that you can use to test your solution against actual users.
For this project, Explore multiple ideas, narrow them down to the one you find most compelling, create a storyboard and prototype, conduct user research, and refine your chosen idea into a final product through an approach called Design Sprint.
The simple skills needed to communicate in a business environment in order to control the proper creation and execution of an innovative product. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders so that they can guide each other through planning and execution. Manage stakeholder expectations and minimize risks that are of high priority, reprioritizing features, and sprint priorities to address competing requests.
For this project, Develop a sprint backlog with a systematic sprint goal that reflects the user stories and targeted acceptance criteria. Incorporate the API documentation to refine the remedy. Next, develop a collaborative activities map and handle competing priorities that range from reported production challenges and resource shortages to stakeholder feedback and desires that surface.
Create a plan, identify the risks connected with your launch, and take steps to minimize their impact. Conceive having teams from various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and more, assist in the launch. Go through the initial launch with help from potential customers, and afterward, consult the feedback you gather to determine the next step for your product.
In this project, Bring the product you have developed in previous courses to market. Create a pre-launch process, entailing identifying launch risks and implementing mitigation efforts. Form a marketing and pricing strategy, and create collateral to prepare Sales and Customer Support departments to advocate for this product. Use customer feedback to develop an A/B test for a new product feature.
According to the Program, the course is expected to be completed within approximately 4 months if you devote a minimum of 10 hours per week to the course. As we mentioned above, they have a self-paced learning environment, so you can attend at your discretion and at your pace.
If you take more than 4 months to finish the course, you have to take the monthly pay-as-you-go plan and pay extra which will increase your overall cost of the course.
Now let’s talk about the cost of the course which is an important part of whether you will buy or not buy the course. In this course, Either you will pay for monthly access or you can also choose a 4-Months access plan.
If you choose the monthly pay-as-you-go option you will pay $399 per month and there is another option that you can choose which comes with exclusive discounts which is a 4 months plan that you need to pay upfront and costs you around $1356 which comes with exclusive discounts making it cheaper than the monthly plan and also recommended by Udacity.
If you pay upfront for the 4 months’ access you can save up to 15% + 70% exclusive discounts which you cannot if you take the monthly plan. If you need more time after 4 months, you can switch to a monthly access plan.
Udacity will give you personalized Discounts if you answer 2 questions and pay upfront rather than a pay-as-you-go plan. You will get a promo code with an exclusive 70% Discount just for you on your course by just answering 2 simple questions.

“I think the projects are what make this program really stand out. Nothing is more of a learning experience than actually doing something and learning from it. Would also like to applaud the ‘Knowledge’ centre where the response times and response quality from mentors to any query is simply excellent! I think these are the two things that make udacity stand out because for the people eager to learn, content is available in some form or the other at multiple places but the real life projects and mentor support or not.”-Arpit S.
“The program is going great. I mostly like it. I wished to have seen MORE examples on how to do research, calculate TAM, investigate revenue models and so on. I felt like I learned a lot, yet at the same time I feel like I’ll have to do a lot more reading and learning on my own to properly clarify this part. I do have a basis to structure my future learning now. This in itself provides the value I was looking for.-Vlad N.
